Well Holy Fucking Shit!

As most of you know, I'm secular humanist (atheist). I spend a lot of time on Science Blogs, specifically http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/. I'm a huge fan of PZ Meyers and the smart and adept way he explains biological mechanisms, not to mention that he is also something of a thorn in the side of "Jewish Cosmic Zombie" freaks.

Imagine my surprise today when I followed a link from his site, to Malfunction Junction. Specifically http://malfunctionjunction.net/?p=176. Matt is a friend and I've been following his webcomics for years. He lives two blocks from my house and will probably be at the New Year's shindig tonight (I'm guessing primarily because of its proximity and the number of hot women who normally attend).

I'm greased in ways I can't describe. This is too cool for words. One of my personal heros reference one of my personal friends. Excuse me for a geek attack.

Oh, and by the way... the comic is hilarious, and if you want to actually learn something, Science Blogs is a great place to start.
